La Costeña Mexican Hominy or better known as Maiz Pozolero adds an authentic flavor to your Mexican soups and other recipes. It is produced using a century old process called “nixtamalization.” This is a natural process where the corn is cooked and plumped using very minimal ingredients.  ​Hominy is a staple in Mexican cooking, often used in famous Mexican dishes, such as menudo, pozole and many more!
